The following are required for exam eligibility:
1. Must possess a current valid driver’s license.
2. Must be at least 18 years of age and meet all eligibility requirements of Section 143.023 of the Texas Fire and Police Civil Service Law.
*** NOTE: Applicants 36 years of age and older are ineligible to take the exam.
3. Must meet all physical requirements.
4. Must be U.S. Citizen.
