Notice Regarding Public Participation
Council & Board Meetings
Effective September 1, 2021, Gov. Abbott issued a repeal of the proclamation which suspended many procedures for City Council and Boards and Commissions meetings. At which time, the usual Texas Open Meetings Act requirements, including those applicable to videoconference meetings, will once again be in effect.

How to speak at the Meeting during Public Testimony/Citizen Comments or Public Hearing:
Those wishing to address the Council during Public Testimony/Citizens' Comments or Public Hearings are asked to complete the appropriate Request to Speak Form.
Please turn the form in to the City Secretary prior to the start of the Council Meeting.
The Mayor will ask for those wishing to address the Council to do so at the appropriate time. Please approach the speaker's podium, state your name and address for the record, and discuss the topic of interest or public hearing item. Please direct your comments to the Mayor and City Council. Public Testimony/Citizens' Comments will be limited to 3 minutes.
