50/50 Cost Sharing for Residential

Program Facts:

  • Work will be completed within 60 days of payment.
  • The City partners with citizens to share the cost.
  • A four-inch-thick sidewalk will be priced based on the current fiscal budget year's concrete pricing per square foot, with a minimum cost to the proper owner of $272.00.
  • A 10% discount will be given to senior citizens age 62 and over.
  • Sidewalk section to be replaced shall be a minimum of sixteen linear feet in length and be more than 11/2 inches out of alignment.
Before and After
Non-Resident Property Owners
For Lancaster property owners not occupying their home, the City manages 40% of the cost, the non-resident owner manages 60% of the cost.
