The City of Lancaster Fire Department and the American Red Cross have teamed up to provide FREE smoke detectors to Lancaster resident homeowners in need. If your detectors aren't in working order, call Fire Department Administration to request installation or battery checks. Remember, smoke detectors should typically be replaced after 8 to 10 years.
