BINGO


Engage in a fun game of matching numbers on a card, until someone yells BINGO and wins!  A variety of unique, practical and colorful prizes awaits the winners!  BINGO is held every 2nd and 4th Friday of each month at 1:00 p.m.  $1.00 per card.
 

Billiards, Cards, Dominoes and Board Games

Learn the strategic art of playing billiards, cards (Spades, Bid Whiz, Phase Ten), dominoes, etc.  Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.   
 

Coloring, Conversation and Coffee (Word, Number Search and Puzzles)

 
Who doesn't love to color?  Especially outside of the lines?  Join seniors for competitive coloring contests and prizes.  Back to the basics of relaxation and creativity.  All materials and supplies are provided.  Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.  
  

Computer Education and Training


Need a FaceBook page?  Want to create an email address?  What about learning Microsoft software packages (i.e. Word, Excel, etc.)?  A knowledgeable instructor will be on hand to show you everything you need to know about computers and software.  Classes are held every Tuesday and Thursday at 10:30 a.m.  
  

Creative Card Making Class

Learn to create unique, fun and personalized greeting cards. All materials and supplies are provided. Class meets Thursday at 10:00 a.m.  $1.00 per card.  
 

Knitting and Crochet Class


This is truly a knit tight group!  Come and enjoy the lively company of other members, designing items through knitting and crochet. Class is open for all levels (beginners, intermediates and advanced members). Class is held every Tuesday and Thursday at 10:00 a.m.   

 

 
 

Movie Madness

The first Monday of each month, join us as we travel to a local movie theatre for a monthly matinee.  We will provide free transportation.  Everything else is a personal expense. 
 

Legacies of a Lifetime 


The monthly celebration of life itself.   Join us as we celebrate life and the birthdays of our members.  Held the first Thursday of each month at 11:45 a.m.

Dancing


Line dancing with flavor!  An experienced and fun loving instruction shares a sequence of steps showcasing line dancing and swing dancing.  Learn the basic steps.  Every Wednesday at 1:00 p.m.  .
 

Men's Power Hour

 
 
Men Only!  Come and fellowship with other men to discuss and engage in conversations that are important to men specifically. There are a variety of topics and issues which lead to open ended questions and a lively discussion. Class is open to men of all ages.  Power Hour is held on Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m.  
 

PuzzleRama

Are you good at “putting the pieces” together?  If so, come and do so with a group of engaging and analytical seniors.  Class is held every Monday at 1:00 p.m.
  

Reading Club


Reading is fun.  Readers are leaders.  Reading is essential to the livelihood of all individuals.  Re-develop the love of reading.  This is a wonderful opportunity to read and to have someone read to you, as well as share your personal story.  The group at large will determine the reading material.  Come, share, engage and be empowered.   Every Tuesday and Thursday at 1:00 p.m.  
  

Groom and Glamour Day


In partnership with the Lancaster ISD, we set aside an afternoon for members to be treated as “golden” and pampered. Services include: facials; women and men haircuts, eyelash tabbing for women, artificial eyelash strips for women, eyebrow and lip waxing; manicures and pedicures (men and women); nail art (hand drawn only,  no jewels or rhinestones, etc.), shampoo and styles.  Seating is extremely limited.  Pre-registration is required.  Every first and third Wednesday of the month.  Available September through May only.  
 

Health and Wellness Clinic


Monthly senior screenings for blood pressure, blood glucose and weight assessments in partnership with Crescent Medical Center Lancaster.  Held the last Tuesday of each month from 10:30 a.m. to noon. 

Sewing and Quilting Class


Bring your own materials and enjoy conversation, assistance with technique, and the company of fellow craftsmen. A quilting horse is provided. Participants regularly create items to be donated to area hospitals and care facilities. Class is held every Tuesday and Thursday at 1:00 p.m.

Walking Club 


We hold the hearts of our senior members in the palm of our hands. Get healthy and fit through walking and low impact exercise. Participants meets Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the Senior Life Center, nd are transported to the Lancaster Parks and Recreation Center, for 30 minutes of cardio exercise.  
  

Water Exercise 


A great fit for all fitness levels, with a focus on balance and flexibility for stressed joints. A very comfortable workout!  Available every third Wednesday ONLY.  Pre-registration is required at the Senior Life Center to participate.
