Volunteers are one of our most valuable resources. It is through their commitment and efforts that the department can provide more diverse and higher-quality services and programs to the citizens of Lancaster. The City of Lancaster's Volunteer Program seeks to engage people ages 17 and older.
Volunteers are a vital part of our library. They are assigned tasks as diverse as dusting, shelving, book lists, bulletin boards, displays, and assisting with our annual Summer Reading Club activities.
For more information on how to become a volunteer at Lancaster Veterans Memorial Library, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Velma Blythe, at 972-227-1080.
