A Lancaster Veterans Memorial Library card entitles the bearer to borrow materials and use public access internet computers and electronic databases at our library. 

For residents of the city of Lancaster, borrowers cards are free. Nonresidents may purchase a card for an annual fee of $20. Proof of current address and photo I.D. are required. 

A valid Lancaster Veterans Memorial Library Card is required for use of public access internet computers. Permission by a parent or legal guardian is required for minors to obtain library cards and internet access. 

Non-residents, with Texas addresses, are eligible for a library card for a fee of $20.00, and are subject to the same application procedures as Lancaster residents. 

Employees of the City and library staff of Lancaster, who are not residents, may receive the same privileges as a resident, with proof of employment and other required identification, renewable only if still employed by the City.

Teacher Cards are issued to teachers and school librarians of Lancaster ISD and Home School programs in Lancaster. 

Institutional cards may be obtained upon presentation of a letter bearing official company identification and Lancaster address, signed by the Chief Executive Officer, owner, or manager. A statement indicating that the company institution will be responsible for the return of all materials borrowed and any fines, fees or charges for lost, damaged, or late materials should be included in the letter
