About the Lancaster Aquatic Center

The Lancaster Aquatic Center is located inside the Recreation Center. The 165,000-gallon pool includes a zero-depth entry, lazy river, 2-story water slide, and lap lanes. Locker rooms with showers and a seasonal concession stand make this a great place for all.

Aquatics Objectives

  • To introduce swimming as a lifelong activity. 
  • To teach skills in a nurturing, positive environment.  
  • To teach all ages the ability to swim and promote water safety

LRC Aquatics is only offering the following programs

Adult Fitness/Lap Swim

Adults 18 and up can enjoy morning hours dedicated specifically to aquatic exercise. Swim laps or engage in self-guided water aerobics. 


  • Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 8:50 a.m.
  • Monday - Friday, 10:00 a.m. - 10:50 a.m.
  • Monday & Wednesday, 9:00 a.m. - 9:50 a.m.
  • Tuesday & Thursday, 11:00 a.m. - 11:50 a.m.

Resident Fees

  • $5 per day
  • $20 per month
  • $120 per year

Nonresident Fees

  • $8 per day
  • $30 per month
  • $160 per year

Swim Lessons: Aqua Babies

We offer a special weekday swim lesson for toddlers to enjoy water acclimation. A Parent or guardian is required to be in the water with child. Parents will receive information and techniques to help them orient their child to the water.  Water adjustment is the goal. Swim skills covered include: holding positions, bubble blowing, supported front & back movement, underwater exploration and rolling over.  For more information, contact 972-218-3700

Water Aerobics

Water aerobics is a great form of fitness for rehabilitation, people who require less joint impact, seniors or those who just love the water.
