About Utility Billing
The function of the Utility Billing Department is to provide the citizens of Lancaster with prompt and courteous customer service while maintaining an accurate and efficient water-billing system.
Department Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing bills monthly
- Providing the billing and collection for the sanitation service on behalf of Community Waste Disposal (CWD)
- Providing water and sewer customer service to the citizens of Lancaster
Due to the Federal privacy act, we can only discuss account issues with the person(s) identified on the account.
Services Provided
Department services:
- Connection of new water service
- Disconnection of meters for final bills
- Monthly billing of service accounts
- Monthly reading of water meters
