This is where you will find the latest study information. After viewing the page, you can give us your comments and sign up to join our mailing list.

The City of Lancaster is leading the effort to prepare the Airport Master Plan. The study’s purpose is to update the existing Master Plan and provide the City of Lancaster achievable goals and guidelines for future airport development. These guidelines, developed with community acceptance, will be intended to allow the development of an aviation facility, will meet aviation demand and facility needs, be environmentally compatible, and allow for coordination with other potential economic development in the vicinity. The study will also include a financially feasible capital improvement plan.

A very important study component of the master plan is to seek input from the public. Whether you fly, live, work or own a business in the area, the Airport wants to consider your input when making long-term plans. This web page’s purpose is to provide information to the public and seek input. As each work element of the master plan is completed, we will post the information (in draft form) for review and comment. Three public meetings are planned to gather feedback from you and others about Lancaster ’s plans. A Study Committee of area leaders and aviation experts has also been created to provide information and insight. Meeting dates, as well as other information about the study will be posted on this page.
