Welcome to the City of Lancaster Parks and Recreation Department

We strive to provide the citizens of Lancaster with well maintained, safe and affordable recreational opportunities. Please take a few minutes to view the information about our neighborhood and community parks, our 64,000 square foot recreation center, and our 11,000 square foot Senior Life Center.  The Parks and Recreation Department offers a wide variety of recreational programs, facilities, classes and special events that we are sure will meet your needs and interest. The city has just added a 2.4 mile Hike and Bike Trail that starts at Main Street and runs through the ONCOR easement to Saddlebrook,  and then starts again on the west side of Houston School Road and ends behind the hospital lot.
