Library Subscription e-Books

Axis 360 is the Lancaster Veterans Memorial Library’s new eBook service available to our cardholders. The eBooks are available in Blio, EPUB, or PDF format. We provide fiction and non-fiction titles for adults and teens. To check out an eBook, visit the Axis 360 Magic Wall. eBooks are also available from the library catalog. The easiest way to download and read your eBooks is using the Blio app. You can download this app for free in the Apple Store, Android Market Place, Google Play Store, or their website, www.blio.com. If you own a Kindle Fire or Kindle Fire HD please see the separate download instructions for the Blio app. If you cannot download the Blio App on your device (Nook, Sony, and Kobo devices) please follow the ePub directions link below.

TumbleBook - The TumbleBookLibrary is a collection of TumbleBooks (animated, talking picture books) with fiction, non-fiction and foreign language titles, Read-Alongs (chapter books with sentence highlighting and narration but no animation), Ebooks which may be viewed online, and Tumble Puzzles & Games. Tumblebook Cloud Junior- TumbleBookCloud junior is a collection of videos and chapter books in categories which include: Ebooks, Read-Alongs, Graphic Novels, Videos (from National Geographic!), and Audio Books suitable for elementary grades. Our books feature adjustable text sizes, full narration, and a read-along function which highlights text as it is read. These features make TumbleBookCloud a great tool for reluctant readers and ESL students. Plus, all these options can be switched to manual so readers can read at their own pace.
